No trick here. It really happened. GOOD BAD THINGS, the feature length drama I cut last year officially ended it's festival run with a 50 screen showing at AMC theaters across the United States.

The film, starring Danny Kurtzman and Brett Dier, written and directed by Shane Stanger, is about a man with muscular dystrophy who has to join a dating app in order to save his business. Along the way he learns not only a lot about dating apps, but about himself.

I'm so proud to have worked on this film, and when I was originally approached by Shane Stanger to cut the film, I wasn't sure if I had the chops the film deserved. Shane approached me so nonchalantly about it, that I think it made me feel immediately confident (maybe too confident). The first week or so was pretty bumpy, but by week two, I knew that I was a great fit for cutting this film. Before the AMC screenings, the film screened multiple times in LA County with moderators such as Ramy Youssef (Poor Things, Ramy), Steve Way (Ramy), and Sian Heder (Coda). All of the screenings I attended were sold out, to the point where there was standing room only (and even that was pretty full).
Coming off of the AMC screenings in August 2024, we capped the run off with a review from RogerEbert.Com . They gave the movie 3.5/4 stars with a beautiful review and breakdown of the movie. We couldn't be more excited with how the movie is being received among the public.
For the future, GOOD BAD THINGS will be streaming it's virtual premeire with partnered company, VEEPS on the weekend of Sept 20th-22nd. We hope for the movie to be available on all platforms soon but for now this is where you can watch it!
